Data disclosed only as necessary: sh agentur GmbH (congress organization), technical service providers, on-site service providers, and the event venue. No disclosure to sponsors for advertising without separate consent.

7 · Photo, Film, and Audio Recordings

Recordings may be made and used by Charité for documentation and public relations (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Participants not wishing to be recorded should contact congress organization on site.

8 · Retention Period

Data will be deleted after the event unless statutory retention periods or legitimate interests require longer storage.

9 · Rights of Data Subjects

Right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), objection (Art. 21), and withdrawal of consent (Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR).

1 · Registration

Registrations are made via the registration form on the event website. The registering person is deemed authorized to register. Registrations are considered in the order received.

2 · Booking Confirmation

Booking is confirmed once the registering person has been added to the participant list. Confirmation is sent automatically to the email address provided from becat-symposium@charite.de.

3 · Cancellation, Changes, and Withdrawal

In cases of force majeure or other substantially impairing circumstances, Charité reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the event. Participants will be informed without delay. Programme changes do not entitle withdrawal. Participants may cancel or name a substitute in writing. No cancellation fees apply where participation is free of charge.

If participation is free of charge, no fees apply.

5 · Copyright

Presentations and distributed materials are for participants' personal use only. Reproduction or distribution requires written consent from Charité.

7 · Data Protection

Personal data are processed exclusively for the organization and follow-up of the event. See Data Protection Information for details.

8 · Liability

Participation is at the participant's own risk. For simple negligence, liability applies only for breaches of material contractual obligations. Liability for injury to life, body or health remains unaffected.

9 · Final Provisions

Should individual provisions be invalid, remaining provisions remain unaffected. German law applies.
